Panca Abimata contains five stories, five collages, and five prayers. The title ""Panca Abimata"" is taken from Old Sundanese, meaning five hopes. The stories, collages, and prayers in this zine are drawn from the everyday experiences of queer individuals in Indonesia. Panca Abimata is an effort to reclaim religious and spiritual spaces for queer people, starting with the creation of prayers (ways to connect with God, the universe, or any higher being) that embrace queer experiences within them. Panca Abimata is funded by the ASEAN SOGIE Caucus as part of the South East Asia Queer Culture Festival 2024.
